Are you wondering what is positive thinking? Well, in short…positive thinking is a mental attitude that involves the process of thinking about words, phrases, and images that are constructive in any given situation.

Positive thoughts bring happiness, joy, health, and success in every situation. Whatever your mind can conceive, positive thoughts will help you take actions to make it happen.

Not everyone accepts or believe in positive thinking patterns. Some people consider positive thinking, nonsense. Some laugh and/or annoyed by those who believe and practice positive thinking patterns.

More and more people are becoming interested in this topic. You can see this happening as more and more books, lectures, and courses on positive thinking come out every month.

We often hear people say: “Think positive!” This term is intended for people who are disappointed and worried about an outcome or a situation. Many people do not take seriously these words. They do not know the true meaning of these words, or do not consider it useful and effective.

What is Positive Thinking – Examples

The following story illustrates how the power of positive thinking works: Ben applied for a job, but he had low self-confidence and he considers himself a failure. He thinks that he does not deserve to be successful, and he’s not confident that he’s going to get the job.

He has negative thoughts towards himself, and believes that the other prospective employees are better and more qualified than him.

On the day of the interview, he got up late! Now what he feared in now becoming a Reality. He also saw that he’s wearing a shirt that’s dirty and not ironed. Since he was running late, he decided to go ahead and wear a wrinkled shirt.

During the interview, he felt tense, had a negative attitude, worried about his shirt, and felt hungry because he did not have enough time for breakfast. His attitude gave the interviewer bad impression. As a result of his fear and negative thinking, he subconsciously sabotaged himself and did not get the job.

Sara also applies to the same job. She felt confident that she would get the job. One week before the interview, she often visualizes herself getting the job, her driving to work, her walking into the office, her at her desk, and so on and so forth.

She prepared the outfit she was going to wear and went to bed earlier than usual. On the day of the interview, she woke up earlier than usual so that she had enough time to have breakfast and get ready. She left her house and arrived at the place of her interview before the scheduled time.

She got the job because she thought positively and visualized in a positive way her getting the job.

What can we learn from these two stories? Is there a magic used in the story? No, everything with this operates by natural law.
